I haven't yet named her, but I'm really pleased with how she turned out. Any thoughts on a name? I first thought about Bella, but somebody else suggested Ramona, which I never would have thought of! She stands about 7 and 1/2 inches tall and was made from acrylic (I know, I know ...) yarn. I used a mercerized cotton for her little dress. The pattern was from Fuzzymitten.com and it was very easy to follow. In fact, I've already cast on for another little bunny.
That is adorable! I always use acyrlic with my toys. I like the ease of care and the ones I've used have a decent feel. I'll have to add this to my list of toys to do!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks great! I often use acrylic yarn as well. I use cotton for babies, but kids don't chew on toys. I think she looks like an ELLA. She is just darling.
ReplyDeleteShe's really cute! Great job on the dress too! I use easy care yarn for my little friends too, super wash wool, acrylics, and blends. I've used the Knit Picks Shine sport a few times and it's really great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling bunny and such a nice dress too! I want to make one too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments, everyone! She really was fun (and easy!) to make. I have a few of the other patterns that she offers at www.fuzzymitten.com, as well. She has a pattern for a boy and a girl monkey and they are adorable. In fact, they are next on the list. Knitathome ~ I like the name Ella!
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded the free lamb pattern. It is just so sweet!!
