Knitted hares were wonderful Easter gifts for my family. To knit the toys I used soft medium yarn and DPNS 2,5 mm. I knitted them using my own pattern. I filled hares bodies with poly granules. Their face features are hand embroidered. All pieces of bodies are knitted using stocking sitches, for ears I use garter stitches.
Hares have clothes in happy colours. Every toy is about 9 inches (23 cm) hight. Look, how funny they are :o))Pattern: Twins knit
Needles: DPNS 2,5 mm
Yarn: 100 % acrylic DK
To fill: poly granules

Your Easter Hares are beautiful! I am working on an Easter bunny to give to my son's girlfriend (it will be late, obviously, but ah well). I love the pattern you have designed. Have you ever thought about selling your pattern? If so, I would love to purchase it from you. :-)
They are adorable! I especially love the first picture with the hare sort of waving at us from underneath the yarn.
These bunnies are so cute!
I hope we will see more of your knitted toys?
Hope you all had a great Easter!

Very cute! I saw you've done some Jean Greenhowe patterns too - I love those. What is Kotek? I've been using Astra but want to try a different brand of yarn. Is Kotek a brand? I coudn't find anything about it online.
